Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from for the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode and broke the news to the fans in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the set of the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has grown to a huge online fan base.
